HROA Fetes Award Winners at Recent Gala; Winners Lauded for Taking Action in Challenging Times

-Buyers and Sellers Convene at Premier New York City Venue during HRO World Event-

EDISON, N.J. (May 12, 2009) – The HROA today announced the winners of its annual HROA Awards, which were unveiled during last week’s Awards Gala at the Russian Tea Room. The 2009 HROA Awards theme was “Be Innovative,” honoring individuals and organizations that have exhibited a commitment to innovation within the HRO industry.

The award winners across 11 categories are:

  • Benefits Relationship of the Year: 3M and Hewitt
  • Buyer Executive of the Year, Large Market: Anthony Mazzeo, Bristol Myers Squibb
  • Buyer Executive of the Year, Mid Market: Lisa Knutson, The E.W. Scripps Company
  • Customer Relationship of the Year, Large Market: GE Money and KellyOCG
  • Customer Relationship of the Year, Mid Market: The E.W. Scripps Company and ADP
  • Learning Relationship of the Year: DTE Energy and Raytheon Professional Services
  • Payroll Relationship of the Year: Analog Devices and ADP
  • Person of the Year: Jeanne Fedoryk, Johnson & Johnson
  • Provider Executive of the Year: Mary Sue Rogers, IBM
  • Technology Relationship of the Year: NorthgateArinso and SAP AG
  • Thought Leader of the Year: Eric Delafortrie, NorthgateArinso

“Once again the HROA Awards recognize the best in HR Operations, Outsourcing and Shared Services,” said Ernie Lareau, Chairman of the HROA. “Our peer-review process, combined with an open vote of our membership, consistently selects the thought leaders in this field.”
