TPI, the largest sourcing data and advisory firm in the world and a unit of Information Services Group Inc. (ISG) (NASDAQ:III, IIIIU, IIIIW), today announced a significant expansion of its capabilities with the hiring of two industry veterans and the promotion of seven key executives to meet client demand and the company’s growth objectives. All nine have been named TPI Partners.
“We completed our first year as a public company with the best year in our history, and we are building on that momentum,” said Michael Connors, Chairman & CEO of ISG and TPI. “While others are retrenching, we are successfully driving our costs lower and our productivity up which is allowing TPI to expand its talent base and promote proven leaders. At a time of global economic uncertainty, these nine individuals will help us serve clients’ rapidly changing needs and capitalize on emerging opportunities to grow.”
Connors added that TPI continues to invest in areas where clients are asking for help especially in the public sector, network services, and functional areas such as IT, Finance, HR and Real Estate.
TPI is also expanding its presence in regions of the world where demand is growing fastest, including Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), which recorded its highest number of outsourcing contracts ever awarded and the total value of contracts signed in 2008 was up 17 percent year on year, and Asia Pacific, which saw the number of outsourcing contracts awarded in the second half of 2008 increase nearly 40 percent. The firm will be announcing further expansion of its global footprint soon.
“Our organization is centered on clients and our growth will come in areas they tell us are most important to them,” Connors said.
TPI Partners are senior-level, client-facing executives acknowledged as having superior capabilities in advisory services, industry expertise and being in demand for their knowledge, insights and experience.
Two Partners were named from outside of TPI:
- Stephen Shea, an expert in telecommunications services and data networks and original founding partner in TechCaliber Consulting, will lead a new Network Services unit in the Americas
- Danny Jones, most recently an executive at EDS with extensive experience in government and transportation, will lead a new Public Sector unit in EMEA.
Seven Partners were promoted from within TPI:
- Indy Banerjee, India
- Dinesh Goel, India
- Steve Hall, U.S.A.
- Karl Friedrich Loeer, Germany
- Tom McCormack, Australia
- Ronald Paschen, Germany
- Glenn Warren, United Kingdom
“As we celebrate the 20th anniversary of TPI this year, we are building on our global leadership position and targeting our investment program to meet emerging client demand” Connors said. “As our clients face unprecedented business challenges, we will continue to offer unparalleled insights, service and expertise.”
