Learning Special Interest Group
The Learning SIG aims to bring together learning and outsourcing professionals in order to support and drive the maturity of the learning outsourcing industry. The SIG will support the overall HROA mission and provide independent, unbiased expert- and peer-based support to its members through:
- Organization of networking and knowledge-sharing events;
- Sharing of best practices;
- Establishing professional standards; and
- Conducting independent research and publication of cases, academic reviews and forward-looking articles.
Some of the areas of focus for the year include driving the speed of workforce competence; innovation in learning sourcing; governance of 3rd party suppliers and learning services; why learning outsourcing is a good business decision; transforming learning through outsourcing; making the case for learning outsourcing; and how learning outsourcing can enable business transformation.
