THE HROA'S IMPACT

Improving Understanding

This is a fast-moving field. HR executives need to know the current state of practice and how to make effective purchasing decisions.

Service providers need clients that understand the market and that come prepared to engage in effective dialog.

Therefore, the HROA strives to:

  • Create tools, educational opportunities, and resources which enable HR executives to make effective sourcing decisions for the  transformation of their HR services
  • Decrease the sales cycle for service providers by improving the level of knowledge and understanding amongst the buying community.
  • Recognize the best of the best in this professional practice with The HROA Awards™.

Establishing a Valuable Network

One of the most valuable resources for an HR practitioner is a network of like-minded peers facing similar opportunities and challenges.  HROA is in a unique position to provide this as it:

Maintains a unique focus on outsourcing

Balances both the end-to-end and single service views of the market

Has a global focus, allowing for the broadest scope/geography

In addition to enabling HR practitioners to learn from each other, it engages providers in a non-threatening, non-competitive industry-based conversation that is validating and insightful (best practices sharing, lessons learned, etc.)

Offers a key development opportunity for those with HR backgrounds (learning, payroll, recruiting, etc.) but who are new to outsourcing

Setting Standards & Practices

This is a nascent and growing industry.  Practitioners need access to the latest accepted and best practices.  The HROA’s Global Publications and Practices Committee, comprised of buyers, advisors, and providers, focuses on developing industry standards and has already established and published several recommended practices.Visit the HROA’s website to learn more.
