2007 hroa awards

In 2007 the HROA called upon all participants in HR Transformation and Outsourcing to Be Extraordinary, to go beyond the norm, the typical, the expected.  Each and every day, each of us working in and around human resources provide the very underpinnings that let humans be more resourceful at work.

Our nominees truly represent this entire field of practice.  They represent exceptional examples of an exceptional industry.  They have done the difficult and often thankless work of human resources.  But they have each done something more.  They have done more than simply save their organizations money or improve the working lives of the employees they serve.  They have done something unexpected, something outstanding.  Each of them, representing the very finest in each of us, has helped advance the practice and state of our collective endeavor.  Each of them has had a material impact on the ability of humans across the world to be more resourceful at work.

In 2007, in every category we had very strong nominees and many of the votes were incredibly close.  To win, a nominee needed to demonstrate how they met a battery of criteria across several categories.  They had to go beyond simple commercial success and demonstrate extraordinary contributions to the state of practice in HR transformation and how they have given back to the industry.
